Ellyse loves magazines and actually started her own online publication while in college for women on her campus.
Ellyse assists with several functions across account teams including social media strategy and content development, influencer program management, writing press materials and pitches and media outreach and monitoring.
- Successfully refreshing Boise Paper’s social media presence, and implementing a successful digital marketing program for the client, consisting of ads, sponsored content and eblasts.
- Regularly managing and overseeing digital events such as sweepstakes, influencer programs and Twitter chats for clients.
- Writing and securing bylined stories as well as drafting internal communications for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Ellyse joined LCWA after completing our internship program. Prior to joining LCWA, Ellyse interned at a public relations agency in Chicago where she worked with several clients in the restaurant and hospitality industry. She has also held a variety of other internships that have allowed her to gain experience in social media, event planning and marketing.
Ellyse has been involved with several award-winning campaigns, including “Pinning Down Traffic to Trex.com,” which won a PRSA Skyline Award and PCC Golden Trumpet Award, and Boise Paper’s “Office Life” campaign, which won a PCC Golden Trumpet Award.
Ellyse grew up in Naperville, Illinois, and attended DePaul University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and advertising. While in school, she was a member of DePaul’s PRSSA chapter and was the founding president of her school’s Her Campus chapter — a digital magazine targeted at females.
