Hunter’s journalism and strategic communications experience help in his work writing press materials, planning events, and developing communications strategies that achieve real results for LCWA’s consumer and home goods clients.

Hunter started his career in the CNN newsroom, where he assisted reporters, anchors and producers in daily news gathering and production duties. From there, he joined a strategic communications firm in Washington, DC, where he executed major communications plans for government clients.
Hunter regularly attends workshops and seminars with the Public Relations Society of America and Publicity Club of Chicago, and has participated in round-table discussions for students at DePaul University on entering the public relations field. He currently coordinates LCWA’s internship program.
A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Hunter graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia, with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and international studies. He also studied international affairs at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and digital media at the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, DC.
