Matt spent time during three summers living with the Lakota people of Crow Creek Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Matt plays jazz guitar.
Matt helps develop and execute public relations programs. He is a natural storyteller who enjoys pitching clients’ stories to get important messages to the right audiences. He also develops strategic programs and a wide variety of press materials for his clients.
- Managing influencer program for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine’s “Sleep Recharges You” campaign to educate teens about the importance of sleep.
- Working on the Urgent Care Association of America’s “Urgency or Emergency?” campaign.
- Helping to launch the “Know Your Family, Know Your Risk” awareness campaign for the Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
Matt joined LCWA after completing the internship program. He previously interned at a public affairs firm in Chicago where he primarily worked for not-for-profit clients.
Matt has won many PR industry awards from the PCC and PRSA Chicago, of which he is a member. He also volunteers at a clinic for those in need.
Matt grew up in Barrington, Illinois. He went from “B-Town to B-Town” when he made his way down I-65 to Indiana University in Bloomington. He graduated from IU with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Go Hoosiers!
