Ben leverages his extensive background in business-to-business communications through his work with companies in the manufacturing, hardware and healthcare industries. He has developed strong relationships with key editorial contacts at trade, industrial and professional media — allowing him to gain numerous placements for his clients’ products and services.

Before LCWA
Ben worked as an intern for a small Chicago public relations agency that merged with LCWA in 2001. He also served in the marketing department of a trade magazine publishing company, coordinating special events and developing direct response campaigns.

Involvement
Ben’s work on the “Revive Wacker Drive” campaign won a Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC) Platinum Trumpet Award for the year’s best public relations program. He also won the PCC’s Elynore D. Meserow Creativity Award for Ace Hardware’s “New Faces for Helpful Places” initiative.

Education
Ben hails from Cedarburg, Wis., and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications.

Ben is a sports enthusiast who enjoys playing beach volleyball, softball, golf, flag football and tennis.
