President and Chief Executive Officer
Kim leads and manages the firm’s operations. She started
with LCWA when the firm was four years old and has been instrumental in
the success of the business. Her dedication to client service and her high
standards of delivering effective, results-oriented programming have been
the foundation of the culture at LCWA.
She is involved in the strategic and creative directions of all of our clients’ programs and campaigns. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our clients, especially in media, brand building/positioning, change management, reputation management, crisis communications and research.
Job Highlights
Before LCWA
Kim has spent her entire
career working in the public relations agency environment. Before joining
LCWA, Kim focused on media relations, events and branding for several
major firms in Chicago. She represented national and Chicago clients
in both the consumer and business-to-business areas.
Involvement
Kim is a member of the Counselor’s Academy, Public Relations Society
of America, International Association of Business Communicators, Publicity
Club of Chicago, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Executives’ Club of
Chicago, City Club and Junior League of Chicago. She has served on the
board of directors for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Museum of
Broadcast Communications, as well as the junior board of the Chicago
History Museum. She currently is a member of the President’s Board of
UCAN, one of Chicago’s leading and oldest social service agencies for
at-risk youth.
Education
Kim grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and graduated from
Illinois State University with a degree in mass communications with minors
in speech communications and public relations.
Fun Fact
Kim, her husband and young children love to travel. They have made
it almost halfway to their goal of visiting every U.S. state capital.
They have met many interesting people along the way and plan to write
a book about their adventures.
