Mary offers our clients more than 30 years of experience from corporate communications and agency management positions. She leads the agency’s corporate public relations efforts, and is active in corporate branding, crisis communications, and financial and media relations. Mary also leads media training for individuals and groups.

Before LCWA
Mary worked as the vice president of corporate communications for two different Fortune 500 companies. Prior to those jobs, she was a managing director for an international public relations agency, where she spent time leading the financial relations practice and managing an account group in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Involvement
Mary has been an adjunct professor in the Integrated Marketing Communications program for Northwestern University and at DePaul University. She is a contributing author on labor communications for the “Handbook of Strategic Public Relations,” published by Northwestern in 1997. She is a member of the Arthur Page Society, The Chicago Network and a fellow of Leadership Greater Chicago.

Education
Mary grew up in Rumson, N.J., but has called Chicago home for more than 30 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and a master’s degree from the University of Chicago.

Fun Fact
Mary is an avid fan of professional road cycling and spends three weeks every July glued to the Tour de France on TV.
