Assistant Account Executive
Rebecca executes strategic programs on behalf of our consumer and business-to-business clients. Her focus is on media relations, and her creative pitches and well-thought-out story ideas have led to a great deal of media success.
Job Highlights
Before LCWA
Rebecca held several internship positions that gave her experience beyond her
years. At an East Coast PR firm she learned the ropes in government media
relations and public affairs, while her experience at an integrated communications
firm helped her develop her social media skills. As the communications intern
for a not-for-profit she wrote an award-winning annual report and secured
numerous editorial placements.
Involvement
Rebecca has an insatiable desire to learn more about the business, and is a regular on the Chicago public relations seminar circuit. She brings the agency her learnings from various PCC, PRSA and vendor events.
Education
Rebecca grew up in Middleburg, Pa. She graduated from Messiah College in Grantham, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, with an emphasis in public relations. She was her class vice president, was selected to represent her school at a business women’s leadership conference and served as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s student assistant at the widely broadcasted Compassion Forum in 2009.
Fun Fact
Rebecca loves traveling to Puerto Rico, thanks to the rich culture, beautiful
architecture, and of course — salsa dancing!
